Students will be creating beautiful whimsical music boxes that play a sweet tune and turn, turn, turn.
This workshop will explore the idea of movable sculpture. Each student will receive a workbench kit that includes a paper clay figurine body and head, music movements, turn table, paper clay, wooden box, and embellishments.
Each student will assemble a music box, create a unique figurine, paint and embellish.
This class is designed for all skill levels.
All materials and tools will be provided but some students might want to bring their own glue gun and scissors.
Students are also encouraged to bring bits and pieces of ribbon, paper, and other embellishments to share.
Class will begin at 10:30 am
We will break for lunch at 12:30
Class will conclude at 5:00
Refreshments will be provided, and lunch will be catered. Students are asked to contribute 8.00 for lunch.
The day will be California Hot and we will be working outdoors under a tent. Please dress for the weather.
