LET THEM EAT CAKE - MICA GARBARINO

P1010455 Ready to "Eat Cake"?

Join me as we make this sweet Cake Candy Container with yummy Poppet on top. In this 6 hour class we will be making a chubby poppet using an old small German China doll head. We will be giving new life to this head by sculpting a body, arms and legs. We will be painting the body, adding crepe paper and paper embellishments. Some light basic sewing will be done while making the crepe paper skirt.

We will construct the two tier cakes with round paper mache boxes by painting inside boxes. We will be adding lovely scrap papers,music sheets, trims, embellishments and wooden feet.

P1010463_2 This piece will also be given a washed antique stain, sealed and topped with delicious glass glitter for a sweet vintage look. When this 11 1/2 inch tall project is all said and done you will be able to fill each container with your favorite goodies !!!

Note: There IS a class fee associated with this class. Class fees range from $15-$30 and are paid directly to the instructor.
