Here's how it works!
If you were referred by a registered member of ConvenZioNE ~ PUT THEIR NAME IN THE "How did you hear about us?" box of your registration page.
Once you pay for your registration and your referral is verified ~ you will BOTH receive a $25 paypal payment or credit card refund!
You can refer as many people as you like! The more people who sign up and use you as a referral, the more stipends you will receive!
Tips for referring people:
Post on your blog about ConvenZioNE! Encourage people to register and tell them about this special offer! You can link to it, here.
Send an email out to your friends or mailing lists, or post on your art group boards (please be respectful of any group rules concerning "coms") about this offer.
Network, recruit, and encourage people to attend this incredible event! You could potentially pay for your attendance this way, and even make some additional money!
The not-so-small-print:
The person you refer MUST be already registered for ConvenZioNE. If you refer someone who is not already registered, then you will not receive the refer-a-friend stipend.
This offer is valid as of October 10, 2009. Members who are already registered may not "go back" and note a referral. However, all currently registered members may begin referring a friend.
At the time that you register, please do NOT note more than one referral. Only the first person noted as a referral will be used as your official referral.
Please remember, if you register and "forget" to put down who referred you, you may NOT go back and retroactively add a referral. However, you may refer people in the future and recieve the stipend!
Finally, if you are a comped attendee, the recipient of a special reduced cost registration or Mano Amica Scholarship - then you can not use the Refer a Friend stipend program when you register. (IE, you will not receive a refund nor will your referral, at the time of your registration) - HOWEVER, you may refer people in the future and receive the stipend!
Note: (Important!) if you partake in the referral program - and then receive a refund on your registration fees, both YOUR referal fee and that of the person you referred will be debited from your refund. (IE, the other person's referral fee will be debited from your refund.) This means that you will NOT be debited for referall fees you receive from people YOU refer to ConvenZioNE if they end up receiving a refund on their registration fees, however, you could be debited up to $50 from any refunds due, for your initial referall stipend and the initial referal stipend that was paid out to someone else on your behalf.
